Told in flashbacks, the story introduces Mufasa as an orphaned cub, lost and alone until he meets a sympathetic lion named Taka - the heir to a royal bloodline. Their chance meeting sets in motion an expansive journey of an extraordinary group of misfits searching for their destiny - their bonds will be tested as they work together to evade a threatening and deadly foe.

Shiny and Transparent

Led by Jo Hall

Transparent and metal objects can seem difficult to represent, this practical art course will show you how other artists have tackled these subjects and give you strategies for painting metallic, glass and other reflective surfaces as well as transparent packaging materials.

Bring your own materials; pastel or wet media; acrylic or gouache. Watercolour is possible but would be more of a challenge. See detailed info below.

Please bring:
- Painting medium of your choice, brushes and appropriate support
- You will also need a drawing board and table easel or small block to tilt your board (an easel is best for working in pastel as it is best to work with your support as upright as possible)
- If using wet media please bring water pots and paper towel
- Make sure you have tape to fix your paper securely
- A small sketchbook for making notes, composition sketches and trying out colours is useful
- If possible bring a piece of fruit and a glass tumbler to the first session

The Society for New Cuisine

Presented by Fun Guy Productions.

After a world-shattering break up, a man with many questions finds The Society for New Cuisine, a group who seem to have all the answers. But what must he sacrifice to feel truly whole?

The Substance meets Woman in Black in this debut play from East-Asian writer and performer Chris Fung (Your Lie in April, Frozen, Cyrano de Bergerac: West End, Evita: Regent’s Park). Directed by Rupert Hands (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, Palladium; Sunset Blvd, Savoy / Broadway).

A deliciously twisted Buddhist inspired folk fable about power, masculinity and heartbreak which took Edinburgh Fringe by storm last summer, now making its much anticipated London debut.

What would you give for a taste of new understanding?

Presented by Fun Guy Theatre.

‘Fung’s masterful debut marks him out as one to watch. Dark, sharp and delicious. There is now absolutely an appetite for whatever he serves up next’ The Scotsman

‘Ambitious. Very, very impressive. The play’s many invoked images and its haunting ending continue to linger' Fringe Review

‘A powerful and clever work. This incredibly deep narrative enthralls the audience. We expect big things in the future’ Starburst Magazine

‘Clever, dark and fascinating. 5 stars’ Theatre and Arts Review

‘Poetic and profound' Henry Longstaff Reviews

SIX the Musical Live!

Event cinema screenings.

Filmed at London’s Vaudeville Theatre and featuring the six original West End queens – Jarnéia Richard-Noel, Millie O'Connell, Natalie Paris, Alexia McIntosh, Aimie Atkinson and Maiya Quansah-Breed - each reprising their roles for a one-off, showstopping cinematic experience.

Watched by audiences of over 3.5 million, the box office smash-hit and double TONY award-winning SIX the Musical has reigned supreme as a global theatre phenomenon since its 2017 debut at Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

The electrifying show follows the long-misunderstood wives of Henry VIII as they strut out of the shadow of their infamous husband to reclaim their narrative and finally tell their stories in their own words - with plenty of royally good fun along the way.

Written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, this musical for the ages sees the six queens - Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anna of Cleves, Katherine Howard and Catherine Parr - take back the microphone through a series of infectious, empowering performances. The queens are accompanied by the sensational on-stage band, the Ladies in Waiting.
