The Great Big Dinosaur Show

Which dinosaur had teeth as big as a banana? Which dinosaur weighed the same as 10,000 cats? And what could a chicken possibly be doing in The Great Big Dinosaur Show?!

Join poet Simon Mole and musician Gecko for a family show full of poems, raps and songs about all your favourite prehistoric protagonists (and some you haven’t heard of yet!). Come and get your groove on to some Jurassic Classics!

The show is inspired by Simon Mole’s 4th book; A First Book of Dinosaurs, illustrated by Matt Hunt, published by Walker Books in September 2023.

All audience members are invited to bring a sock of any size or colour to become part of our sauropod sock herd! We advise these being additional socks to the ones you will be wearing on your feet…

Puffling Percy

Percy is a puffling who loves his burrow a little too much.

Map and Pap want him to venture outside and flap his wings, but Percy has other ideas. What the puffling doesn’t realise, however, is that his entire flock are about to migrate south for the winter. If he doesn’t learn to fly, he will be left behind and his life will be in mortal danger!

Intermediate Yoga

Led by Julie Potter

This class is suited to those who have been practising for at least 6. My intention for this class is to move our practise forward, explore different avenues and approaches to the traditional postures. We will be aiming to be going deeper into awareness and noticing.

The yoga I teach is an evolution of over 20 years of practice and study, perhaps moving away from external evaluation of the postures and moving towards an internal sense of the postures, moving away from the more used traditional approach of systemised yoga to a more experiential approach. Whilst looking at traditional Hatha Yoga postures and pranayamas, I will be encouraging fun and freedom within the traditional structure, whilst taking into our awareness fundamental anatomical and functional aspects required by our bodies for maximum wellbeing benefits.

Please bring a blanket, a Yoga / Pilates mat, and wear loose comfortable clothing.
